Drew Meehan

Drew has experience in public health policy and is passionate about creating and advocating for comprehensive policies that encompass the entire spectrum of cancer care – from the critical juncture of diagnosis, through to treatment, survivorship, and end-of-life care. Drew holds a Masters in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical). In her time at Cancer Council Australia, Drew has contributed to the development of national cancer care policies, with a focus on addressing emerging issues in cancer care and identifying priority areas for governmental action. In her spare time Drew is a PhD candidate researching public health responses to loneliness and social isolation, from the younger to the older adults, her research seeks to reveal the common threads within communities that perpetuate these feelings of disconnection.
