Kin Yin Chan
Carol is a physiotherapist specialising in pelvic health and oncology rehabilitation and currently works at Concord Repatriation General Hospital NSW. She recently completed her PhD at the University of Sydney, examining functional recovery and rehabilitation for Low Anterior Resection Syndrome and supportive care for people with colorectal cancer. Drawing on this research, she has established a pelvic health and oncology rehabilitation service at Concord for cancer survivors experiencing bladder, bowel, and sexual dysfunction after cancer surgery and treatment. The service also extends to the broader community. Her work bridges research and clinical practice to improve health outcomes and quality of life for this underserved population.
