Grace L Rose
Grace's research focuses on removing the barriers to exercise program participation for people during and following treatment for cancer – through addressing mechanistic underpinnings and perceived health benefits of exercise, referrals, resourcing, and methods of service. As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Grace’s research has a strong applied, clinical lens, where she is has managed and collaborated on >$4.9 million funded exercise implementation clinical trials. Her research uniquely cross-sects basic and implementation science, where key disease-contributing factors she investigates include: immune function, inflammation, body composition, psychosocial factors, and fitness.
