Abbey Diaz
Dr Abbey Diaz is a Faculty of Medicine Research Fellow and epidemiologist in the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research Team in the School of Public Health, University of Queensland. Her research program focuses on improving cancer care and outcomes for First Nations people, particularly those living with other chronic conditions. She is an investigator on a National Heart Foundation funded project in cardio-oncology to better understand the risk of cardiovascular disease in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with cancer.
